As a 20 Something, life can get very hectic. Between balancing school, work, internships, social life, dating scene, family et al, we often find ourselves with not much time to just be. Some of us are better than others at penciling in a little “me” time everyday. Others spin about their various cities like a tornado, often crashing from exhaustion. The later used to be my way of life. After graduation from college in December, I promised myself that with moving to a new city, I would not overload my schedule. I constantly challenge myself to enjoy the little things in life; the people around me, the way the light hits a tree in a certain spot, the incredible restaurant scene, etc. I challenge all of you to, just as I did, pencil in a little “me” time even if it is just 15 minutes a week. Attempt to try something new (restaurant, boutique, park, museum, different route to work, etc.) every week. As Erin so wonderfully captured here, there is amazement among the chaos of life. When you take time to stop and smell the roses, you realize just how beautiful they are!
