Paris | 20 SOMETHING

For the past month I have been dreaming of my return to my second homeland of France. Of course I love New York City, its energy, and all that it has to offer but Paris is just so different and incomparable. This amazing city has a whimsical nature adorned with romance and stone paved streets. Upon my arrival I only had two full days in Paris before having to go to the countryside in Loire Valley where my family lives. Because of this, I knew I had to make the most of my time there and make use of the new camera I recently acquired over Christmas!

Strolling past the glamorous shops at La Champs Elysee and taking frequent café breaks to watch passerby’s (too bad it was through the windows as it was freezing out) I realized how much I adore Paris. Although I couldn’t afford the items in such shops… yet… it was still fun to window shop at Chanel, Dior and Celine among others of course. First and foremost on my list of things to do was to practice my French as it could probably come in handy one day being in the Fashion Industry.

Emma Stone wears Maje’s Ribiera coat in Paris

Emma Stone was spotted in Paris this week in fashion editors fav, the Ribiera coat from Maje. This must have for the season was spotted all over the fashion week circuit which has now obviously made it impossible to walk down any London street without spotting it.

So what is it about this coat that makes it so desirable? is it the oversized leather pockets with matching cuffs and collar or is it its perfect length and practical wool mix? it’s probably the fact that you cannot pick up a fashion magazine without seeing it (or it’s electric blue and equally amazing twin). This wear over anything jacket looks best worn causal over a pair of jeans (i’d recommend new denim line Koral Los Angeles) and teamed with simple pumps; obviously us 2o something girls would suggest these were Tory Burch’s Reva’s.
